Role
The Industrial Equipment Installer has broad responsibilities, and thus is a key member of the Conair Team and a critical part of all phases of new projects. The Industrial Equipment Team Member is responsible for working on a traveling installation team. This position reports to the Project Management Supervisor and is located in New Orleans, LA and the field.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works on a traveling installation team, taking direction from the site-based Installation Crew Chief;
- Travel by truck or by airplane to customer sites to install Conair equipment. Typical deployments are targeted for 10 days on, 4 days off, but may vary widely due to job demands;
- Work safely; wear proper safety equipment, understand safe work practices, and refuse to do any work in an unsafe manner;
- Prepare and submit expense reports;
- Help crew chief prepare returned hardware & equipment for return to Conair and vendors;
- Other duties as assigned.
