Multilink

Multilink is the new control unit by Piovan designed for the automatic coupling of conveying systems based on centralised vacuum technology.

Centralised vacuum systems consist of one or more vacuum units operating in parallel, which work according to actual production needs. Key advantages include: high efficiency, fewer vacuum units and filters compared to conventional systems and reduced maintenance costs.

Native integration with Winfactory 4.0 ensures complete batch traceability and automatic setting of conveying and cleaning parameters.

The system architecture is designed to eliminate the risk of material cross-contamination, as material handling only occurs during changeover operations at the destination. Multilink is engineered
with a layout compatible with Pipeline Inspection Gauge (PIG) systems, allowing for efficient periodic pipeline cleaning.

The Multilink control unit can be paird with both Easy3 and PLC-based systems.

With a compact footprint and vertical development, Multilink optimises the production space with the possibility for either ground-level or mezzanine installation. Its modular design also facilitates the addition of extra outlets after the initial installation.
