Piovan Food & Powders will exhibit at Stand D22 at SOLIDS Parma 2026 (February 11–12, 2026), the trade show dedicated to technologies for powders, granules, and bulk solids. The exhibit will focus on automation solutions for bulk solids handling and processing across two industrial domains: plastics and food.

Bulk solids expertise for plastics and food

Piovan Food & Powders designs and delivers automation systems for the processing of bulk solids for the plastics industry and for the handling of powdered ingredients for the food industry. This cross-industry competence enables the delivery of complete, turnkey technological solutions, tailored to different materials, production objectives, and regulatory requirements.

At SOLIDS Parma 2026, the plastics-side portfolio will be presented with specific attention to DryWave, the fluidized bed dryer. This compact solution combines drying and cooling in a single system to support continuous and uniform heat treatment. DryWave is suitable for granules, powders, crystals, and flakes, and is particularly relevant for washing lines or pre-drying for extrusion.
In addition, a virtual reality experience will be available to provide a complete, end-to-end overview of solutions for compounding, from raw material handling to integrated process architecture.

For food applications, technical consultations and project overviews will be available for key powder applications, including:

• Flour Cooling
  Air-based cooling to control flour temperature for process stability and consistent dough performance, without the use of CO₂.
• Sugar Handling
  Systems for conveying, drying, storage, shredding, and dosing of hygroscopic products such as sugar, with dense-phase transport configurations and moisture-control strategies.
• Electrostatic Coating
  A patented technology for food powder application, designed to improve adhesion and coating uniformity while significantly reducing raw material waste.
