From March 10th to 12th, Piovan Food & Powders will present advanced technologies for food powder handling and for liquid and cream processing at CFIA Rennes 2026, at Stand 2-D37 in Hall 2.3. Taking place at Rennes Parc Expo (Bruz, near Rennes), CFIA Rennes is a key event for the food processing industry, where leading companies showcase solutions for handling and processing food ingredients.

Piovan Food & Powders designs, manufactures, and installs highly engineered solutions—ranging from single machines to fully customized turnkey plants and complete projects—for the processing of food powders, liquids and food-grade creams. Our technical team will be available at Stand 2-D37 to provide application and process consulting, evaluate material behavior and line constraints, and support both revamping and new initiatives.

Featured technologies include flour air cooling, electrostatic coating, and dedicated solutions for hygroscopic raw materials, where humidity control is essential to protect product quality, flowability, and process stability:

  • Flour air cooling – Designed to keep dough performance consistent year-round, regardless of seasonal conditions and plant location. The air-cooled approach reaches the target flour temperature without CO₂, while supporting safe operation and streamlined plant management.
  • Electrostatic coating – A patented technology for applying food powders to sweet and savory products with maximum adhesion and uniform coverage on all sides. The electrostatic field improves application consistency while reducing overspray and optimizing raw material usage.
  • Hygroscopic raw materials handling – Integrated solutions for the management of hygroscopic ingredients (e.g., sugar), including ambient air drying, conveying, shredding, storage, and dosing—helping prevent variability in downstream processes.

During the exhibition, Piovan Food & Powders will introduce TeslaTube to the French market for the first time: an extremely innovative induction heating technology designed for the transfer of food-grade creams and other viscous food fluids. TeslaTube enables tight temperature control along the entire path—helping prevent localized solidification and preserving product integrity from tanks to end-of-line.

TeslaTube provides:

  • Up to 90% energy savings compared to traditional technologies, eliminating water use and energy-intensive components such as pumps and boilers
  • Virtually zero thermal inertia for rapid start-ups and fast stabilization at operating temperature
  • Ultra-precise temperature control (±0.1°C) across the entire line through an integrated PLC and distributed sensors with real-time power modulation
  • Plug-and-play, modular architecture applicable at any point of the line while reducing structural loads (system weight can be reduced by more than 50% versus traditional installations)
