Piovan Group is partner of Evans Moulding Academy, a new training organisation born from the cooperation between Taplast, based in Vicenza, and nine leading plastic moulding technology and services companies.
The organisation’s objective is to expand the knowledge regarding injection moulding by offering free training courses to people working in the sector, thus deepening their knowledge and degree of specialization. The courses are held by the partners involved.
Piovan Group, which has always been a supporter of the operators’ growth through training, has decided to join this unprecedented initiative in the plastic industry, by contributing to the activities of the Academy in two ways.
Specifically, throughout 2019 Piovan will be involved with the organisation of courses on the principles of dehumidification and on Modula solutions for high efficiency and automatic regulation of process parameters. In line with its innovative spirit, the company will also dedicate a training course to industry 4.0 and energy efficiency systems: Winfactory 4.0 and Winenergy.
In addition to the classroom sections, the Evans Moulding Academy has set up a demonstration area accessible to everyone taking part in the training courses to show them concretely how machines and equipment operate within the factory.
Piovan Group has provided a dehumidification system to allow the use of a wide range of raw materials, including technopolymers and innovative materials, albeit hygroscopic. In order to enhance the versatility of the Academy’s work island, a dispenser for the use of masterbatch or additives has also been added. The system is completed by a vacuum transport system for granulate feeding.
Piovan Group is proud to participate in this project, and is committed to providing equipment as well as technical and cultural training contributions to offer companies, specialists and also students the opportunity to learn in the field, using state-of-the-art presses and operating systems.
