Key Roles and Responsibilities:

· Learn technical aspects of PiovanGroup product line, and its application in different sectors of plastics industry

· Liaison with internal stakeholders for the management of RFQ process, including –

- gathering all technical requirements from customers

- summarizing customers’ requirements and relaying to internal stakeholders for transfer pricing

- preparing formal proposal for the sales team for presentation to the customer

· Identify and recommend improvements to the internal processes for generating quotations, ensuring quicker response times and higher accuracy in pricing for customers.

· Assist in organizing and developing tools for efficient quotation generation for various equipment, including Dryers, Blenders, Feeders, Chillers, Granulators, Conveying systems, and Controls (FACS, 24-7).

· Recommend and implement tools or methods to analyze technical data (such as airflow, capacity, etc.) for use in the quotation generation process.

· Develop and maintain spreadsheets or databases to assist the sales team in calculating the appropriate size and specifications of machines to offer, based on the technical data provided by customers.

· Gather, organize, and provide technical information on quote blocks and related documentation for use by the sales team.

· Work closely with both the engineering and sales team to streamline processes and ensure technical accuracy in all customer-facing documentation.

· Occasional on-site visits to customers’ facilities along with sales team members for overseeing and coordinating installation projects.

Qualifications:

· Enrolled as a Junior or Senior undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering program.

· Basic understanding of business analysis and providing tools and recommendations of operational flow.

· Ability to identify challenges within the quotation process and propose practical solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and presentations.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with technical teams and customers effectively.

· Experience with SolidWorks (preferred), AutoCAD, or DraftSight is desirable.
