Under direct supervision of the work center’s Team Lead and/or supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for the physical assembly, wiring, troubleshooting and testing of electrical and industrial control panels of industrialized machinery.
Roles/ Responsibilities:
- The individual must pose the necessary skills to effectively be trained on the basic wiring of electrical control paneling and complete assemblies
- The individual must demonstrate the ability to test electrical systems for safety and functionality
- Must possess the necessary skill set to install control panels
- Will be required to learn the necessary conduit to support equipment assembly
- Must learn the process of punch for various size boxes to support wiring
- Ability to learn wiring by size and color for proper install of electrics
- Must understand basic wire labeling
- Must have the skills and abilities to understand and mount critical parts for unit function
- Must possess the necessary skills to understand redline system layout, detailed drawing and schematics
- Must be able to communicate effectively with teammates and internal customers
- Must be able to take direction from others
- Must remain in compliance with all safety standards
- Must understand how to fill out appropriate check sheets
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- > 1yr of basic electrical training
- Must have a basic knowledge of schematics and drawings
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Basic knowledge and skills in circuits and electronics
- Desire and willingness to be certified in Gas
- Desire and willingness to be UL Certified
