The TIG welder will assist with the welding of metal parts with the use of gas welding equipment.  This individual will be expected to follow and understand blueprints, material layout as well as understanding of work orders.  The individual must also show proof of certification from a certified welding program.

Roles/Responsibilities: 

• Ability to take on complex assignments when required
• Ability to guide others if needed
• Support the welding of small metal parts to support the assembly process
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Read measuring devices such as tape measures and gauges
• Setup, assemblies, fits, and tack weld parts per blueprint
• Use burn equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape
• Deburr or grind parts
• Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded
• Follow all safety guidelines including PPE
• Assist with daily housekeeping duties
• Weld PCOS items

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Welding certifications/training required
• 2+ years experience required.
• Must be able to work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions
