Mississauga, Ontario<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Roles and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Learn technical aspects of PiovanGroup product line, and its application in different sectors of plastics industry<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Liaison with internal stakeholders for the management of RFQ process, including \u2013<\/p>\n<p>- gathering all technical requirements from customers<\/p>\n<p>- summarizing customers\u2019 requirements and relaying to internal stakeholders for transfer pricing<\/p>\n<p>- preparing formal proposal for the sales team for presentation to the customer<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Identify and recommend improvements to the internal processes for generating quotations, ensuring quicker response times and higher accuracy in pricing for customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Assist in organizing and developing tools for efficient quotation generation for various equipment, including Dryers, Blenders, Feeders, Chillers, Granulators, Conveying systems, and Controls (FACS, 24-7).<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Recommend and implement tools or methods to analyze technical data (such as airflow, capacity, etc.) for use in the quotation generation process.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Develop and maintain spreadsheets or databases to assist the sales team in calculating the appropriate size and specifications of machines to offer, based on the technical data provided by customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Gather, organize, and provide technical information on quote blocks and related documentation for use by the sales team.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Work closely with both the engineering and sales team to streamline processes and ensure technical accuracy in all customer-facing documentation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Occasional on-site visits to customers\u2019 facilities along with sales team members for overseeing and coordinating installation projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Enrolled as a Junior or Senior undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering program.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Basic understanding of business analysis and providing tools and recommendations of operational flow.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Ability to identify challenges within the quotation process and propose practical solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and presentations.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with technical teams and customers effectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Experience with SolidWorks (preferred), AutoCAD, or DraftSight is desirable.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7 Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environmen<\/p>","protected":false},"author":20,"template":"","tags":[108],"acf":{"location":"Mississauga, Ontario","job_region":"NA &amp; CENTRAL AMERICA","latitude":"","longitude":"","question_1":"","question_2":"","question_3":"","internship":false,"external_url":"","job_id":"","adp_job_id":""},"yoast_head":"<title>Sales Engineering Internship -
