During 2025, following the delisting of Piovan S.p.A., the Group established an internal <strong>Sustainability Committee<\/strong> to support the Board of Directors and activated an <strong>internal Task Force<\/strong> to monitor projects and progress on <strong>ESG<\/strong> initiatives.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Compared with 2024, PiovanGroup reduced energy consumption from fossil sources by 8% and doubled the share of renewable sources in total energy consumption. This result was achieved both through the direct purchase of electricity from renewable sources and through an increase in self-generated energy consumption. This strategy will continue in 2026 through the installation of photovoltaic panels at the Chinese production facility, as well as through near-total photovoltaic coverage of the new facility of the <em>Food&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Powders<\/em> division in San Felice sul Panaro (Italy), expected to become operational in fall 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Furthermore, a 30% reduction was recorded in tons of CO<sub>2<\/sub> from indirect emissions, which, in the Group\u2019s case, are generated mainly by the use of sold products (98%). Thanks to the type of systems sold compared with the previous year, customers\u2019 energy consumption decreased while revenue remained substantially stable.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">In 2025, the Group also voluntarily adhered to the principles of the <strong>United Nations Global Compact<\/strong> and began work on a Transition Plan for its SBTi pathway. The UN Global Compact is the <strong>world\u2019s largest corporate sustainability initiative promoted by the United Nations<\/strong> and, for the company, this means promoting a sustainable and responsible growth model by committing to integrate the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact into its strategies, grouped into four areas (human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption).<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Overall, the report highlights a structured system of control, internal supervision and analysis of data from all Group companies. With the acquisition of Penta Auto Feeding India Ltd. and Nu-Vu Conair Private Ltd., the Group consolidated its position in the South Asian market. In parallel, expansion continued with new subsidiaries in Colombia and Saudi Arabia. In emerging markets, such as Asia and India, where demand is growing strongly, Piovan technologies represent a competitive advantage both under the current regulatory framework and in view of its future evolution. In Italy, between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, the acquisitions of Mix &amp; Co and BHT were completed, strengthening the <em>Technical Polymers<\/em> and <em>Food&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;Powders<\/em> divisions in a synergistic manner, broadening the technology offering and accelerating international expansion in the food sector.<\/p>\n<p class=\" translation-block\">PiovanGroup therefore continues to pursue a path of <strong>continuous innovation<\/strong>, developing solutions that support the use of recycled polymers and biopolymers, with contributions from more than 330 engineers engaged in R&amp;D and 22 patents linked to the circular economy out of approximately 300 total patents. In addition, approximately 84% of each product can be fully recycled if properly disposed of. The systems are designed to integrate advanced solutions for energy recovery, waste minimization and optimization of resource use. Their components are conceived to allow upgrades and regeneration, supporting repairability and extending the operating life cycle. Innovation is complemented by support for international customers in their efforts to reduce emissions. For example, the systems designed by Piovan for dehumidification processes are developed with a focus on energy efficiency, with the aim of optimizing operational energy consumption. These features can help improve the environmental impact of processes through more careful management of associated emissions.<\/p>\n<p>An important innovation introduced to the market last year is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.piovan.com\/ru\/product\/teslatube\/\"><strong>TeslaTube<\/strong><\/a>, a proprietary technology that introduces electromagnetic induction into the transport of viscous fluids and complements machinery designed to improve energy efficiency, production quality and consumption monitoring, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.piovan.com\/ru\/product\/condenso\/\"><strong>Condenso<\/strong><\/a>, the fume condenser that minimizes energy consumption and emissions.
