This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to attract, identify, and hire qualified talent while delivering a positive candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead recruitment efforts from requisition approval through onboarding and play a key role in supporting workforce planning initiatives, particularly within a manufacturing environment. This position is a hybrid role with primarily located in Cranberry Township, PA and will report to the Director of Human Resources.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the approval process for new position requisitions and post openings in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and external job boards.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, qualifications, skills, and interview processes.<\/li>\n<li>Source and attract qualified candidates utilizing recruiting platforms, job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other sourcing methods.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and fit for open positions.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain regular communication with hiring managers regarding candidate pipelines, recruiting progress, interview feedback, and hiring recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and extend employment offers in accordance with company policies and compensation guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Initiate background screenings and pre-employment onboarding activities following offer acceptance.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate regularly with candidates to ensure timely completion of onboarding requirements and maintain engagement throughout the hiring process.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with hiring managers and HR Business Partners regarding onboarding progress, orientation schedules, and new first-day hire logistics.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting records within the applicant tracking system and HRIS.<\/li>\n<li>Support employment branding, recruiting events, career fairs, and other talent acquisition initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duties and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment or as an agency recruiter.<\/li>\n<li>Required: Demonstrated experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, skilled trades, engineering, operations, supply chain, or other industrial positions.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting both hourly and salaried recruitment efforts.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting platforms, and HRIS systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to successfully recruit for hard-to-fill manufacturing and skilled-trade positions.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of employment laws, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements, and hiring compliance practices.<\/li>\n<li>Strong relationship-building and consultative skills with hiring managers and business leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.<\/li>\n<li>Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other sourcing tools preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manufacturing industry recruiting experience in a multi-site environment.<\/li>\n<li>Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or AIRS Recruiter Certification.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting onboarding, employer branding, and workforce planning initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with recruiting metrics and reporting to drive hiring effectiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"author":0,"template":"","tags":[],"acf":{"location":"Cranberry Township, PA | USA","job_region":"NA & CENTRAL AMERICA","latitude":40.7117816,"longitude":-80.1175502,"question_1":"","question_2":"","question_3":"","internship":false,"external_url":"https:\/\/recruiting.paylocity.com\/recruiting\/jobs\/Details\/4588026\/PGNA-Inc\/Talent-Acquisition-Specialist","job_id":4588026,"adp_job_id":""},"yoast_head":"<title>Talent Acquisition Specialist -
