This two-and-a-half day, conference organized by Plastics Technology, will consist of sessions devoted to technical and business issues common to all types of extrusion \u2013 film, sheet, pipe, profile tubing or compounding. <\/p>\n<p>On December 6<sup>th <\/sup> at 11 a.m. Mr. Bill Goldfarb, President at Una-Dyn, will deliver a technical presentation entitled <em>Automated Materials Management: Conveying Solutions for Traceable, Contamination-Free Industry 4.0 Operations<\/em>. This presentation will address current material handling issues of managing multiple material supply points and the requirements to route materials to the proper destinations in extrusion processes. Using Automatic Coupling Stations, conveying selections are made without need for operator-driven flexible routing, but with automated source by destination material line routing.
