The facility will employ approximately 100 people, with the prospect of further workforce expansion in the years ahead. The investment will also have a significant impact on employment and innovation, with recruitment already underway to strengthen key roles across the organization, including project and site managers, sales engineers, mechanical and electronic designers, and software developers.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of this investment, Piovan will further enhance its Research &amp; Development capabilities through the creation of a newly dedicated testing room serving an important dual purpose. The space will host pilot systems, allowing customers to carry out customized trials using their own ingredients and create an environment designed to support continued investment in innovation and the development of new cutting-edge products, providing Piovan\u2019s customers with industry-leading and innovative solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>The new production facility represents a key milestone in the development and growth of the Food &amp; Powders division. It will allow us to operate with facilities suited to our new revenue volumes, optimize production flow, and present an image aligned with the Group\u2019s expectations. It will also provide a modern and welcoming working environment, consistent with Piovan\u2019s high quality standards. Lastly, the creation of a dedicated testing room will enable us to fully express the excellence and innovation that have always distinguished us, ensuring our customers receive increasingly comprehensive and cutting-edge solutions,<\/em>\u201d commented <strong>Alessandro Sala, CEO of the Food &amp; Powders division<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Piovan Group has pursued a growth strategy in the food sector through significant investments in food processing technologies<\/strong>. Piovan Group entered the food sector in 2015 through the acquisition of Penta, a company based in Emilia-Romagna (Italy) that at the time generated approximately \u20ac2 million in revenue. This was followed in 2019 by the acquisition of Fea Process &amp; Technological Plants, leading to the creation of the Food &amp; Powders division in May 2025 and the addition of Modena-based BHT at the end of 2025. This growth trajectory has brought revenue to approximately \u20ac60 million.
