Position:<\/strong> Senior Welder<\/p>\n Location:<\/strong> Franklin, PA<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Role<\/strong><\/p>\n The Senior Welder is a highly skilled worker responsible for welding and assembling metal components using a variety of welding techniques and materials. Other abilities include a deep understanding or quality measures, mentoring junior welders, and ensuring adherence to strict specifications and deadlines, advanced knowledge of blueprints. The ability to maintain safety standards within a manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is located in our assembly plant in Franklin, Pennsylvania. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Interpreting technical drawings:<\/strong><\/p>\n Accurately reading and understanding complex blueprints and engineering drawings to determine fabrication requirements. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Precision cutting and shaping:<\/strong><\/p>\n Utilizing a variety of fabrication equipment including grinders, and hand tools to cut and shape parts to be welded. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Advanced welding techniques:<\/strong><\/p>\n Performing complex welding operations using MIG, TIG, or other welding methods to join metal pieces with high precision and quality. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Assembly and fitting:<\/strong><\/p>\n Aligning and fitting components together to create complete weldments, ensuring proper tolerance and fit. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Quality control:<\/strong><\/p>\n Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to identify and rectify any defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Mentorship and training:<\/strong><\/p>\n Providing guidance and training to less experienced fabricators on proper techniques, safety procedures and quality standards. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Problem-solving:<\/strong><\/p>\n Capability to identify and troubleshoot fabrication issues that may arise.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Maintaining equipment:<\/strong><\/p>\n Properly operating and maintaining welding machinery, including routine cleaning and reporting any maintenance needs. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Jig and Fixtures:<\/strong><\/p>\n Ability to design and construct jigs and fixtures to properly position parts to maintain quality standards and improve the repeatability or work. <\/p>\n Duties and Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n PiovanGroup is a world leader in the development and production of systems for the automation of production processes for the storage, transport and treatment of polymers, plastic, and food powders.
